Dr. Russell Brock is a native of Greene County, a Greene County High School alumnus, and a U.S. Army veteran. He began his career at GCHS as a history teacher and coach in 1993, and was named Teacher of the Month twice. In 2002, he left GCHS for an administrative position and has since served as an assistant principal, principal, and director of facilities in several successful school systems. Dr. Brock has been named a Georgia Distinguished Principal and was a recipient of the Mike Campbell Leadership Award in 2011. Dr. Brock received his BS in History from Georgia College and State University in 1993. He received his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia in 1999 and 2003.
